Visitors from Perm State in Perm, Russia experienced the hospitality and culture-rich atmosphere of the Delta when they visited early February. They returned home to report about the visit to their Russian constituents.

The partnership with Perm State is one example of Delta State’s efforts to increase international relationships that will ultimately enhance multicultural education across campus.

Agreements with Perm State include a collaboration to improve the educational process by using educational technologies, including information and media technologies, the Internet, and computing platforms, for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty members of the Universities; developing and enhancing multicultural and intercultural competencies; and a collaboration to develop academic scholarship and applied research in fields of study appropriate to interests of students and faculty of the Universities.
