Dear Colleagues:
This week, my family and I have been spending time together in South Carolina. Amidst fun on the beach and swimming in the ocean, I sustained a head injury which resulted in a subdural hematoma. The wonderful doctors at the area hospital were able to go in right away and relieve the pressure. As a result, I should be out of the hospital in a few days and back to a normal routine shortly thereafter. We are still working out my recovery plan, but I’m hoping to be back on campus within a few weeks. I will be in regular communication with my Vice Presidents during the recovery period, and they have assured me that they will continue moving our initiatives forward during my extended vacation. Thank you for your patience and prayers as I work toward a full and speedy recovery.
Very best regards,
Bill LaForge
President
