Delta State is constantly improving all facets of university life including upgrades and renovations  to our campus. This summer, the Department of Facilities Management is busy tackling many campus improvement projects, and here are some numbers about those projects.

  • The Mississippi Department of Transportation sidewalk project, which will update and repair the sidewalks on campus, will cost $530,000.
  • The H.L. Nowell Student Union will undergo a $2 million renovation to make room for our new food service vendor, Sodexo.
  • Walter Sillers Coliseum will receive a new roof, HVAC system,  and sound system, totaling $2.5 million.

In other news on campus, summer camps at Delta State are in full swing, but you can still register for the many opportunities still to come this summer. To see a full list of all summer camp offerings, visit deltastate.edu/summercamps.
