Last year, Delta State ate up our inaugural Culture on the Quad international festival. Literally. Participants sampled more than 30 dishes from around the world, prepared by some of our international faculty, staff, and students. There also was a feast for the eyes—because the event included a fashion show, student dance troupes, and Bollywood Touch, a professional dance troupe.
Here are some other numbers about Culture on the Quad, which is produced by the Office of Student Affairs and will take place on April 25 from 12 to 5 p.m. on the Quad.
- This year, the event will draw on the talents of nearly 150 international students.
- Our international students represent 47 countries across the world.
- Their majors range from biology/pre-med to music to business to psychology.
