BPAC Spring Schedule

Joining President LaForge is Laura Howell, executive director of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.

Today, we’re discussing the exciting spring 2018 performance schedule at the Bologna Performing Arts Center — or as we like to call it, the BPAC.

At Delta State, we take great pride knowing that BPAC programming boosts the cultural and entertainment experience for those on campus and within the Delta region.

Our 1,200-seat state-of-the-art theater features everything from Broadway musicals to GRAMMY-winning musicians — and we feel fortunate to host these events on the Delta State campus.

Highlights for the spring schedule include National Broadway Tours of The Sound of Music, RENT, and Cinderella. Concerts featuring Michael McDonald as well as the legendary Gladys Knight. And, the performance of arguably Shakespeare’s greatest play, “Hamlet” along with other performances such as “TAO: Drum Heart”, which is a show of contemporary costumes combined with explosive Taiko drumming and innovative choreography.

In other campus news the BPAC presents Hamlet on Tuesday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. There’s still time to get tickets by calling (662) 846-4626 or by visiting the BPAC website, www.bolognapac.com. On Wednesday, Career Services will host an event for students How To: Dress Professionally in Union 302 from 4-5 p.m. And on Wednesday night, the Union Program Council will host Casino Night for students from 7-10 p.m. in the Jacob Conference Center.
